Hello, my name’s Jackie. I have been tutoring for over 30 years, and I love every moment of it. Let me share a little about myself—my career began in the 1970s when I trained as a nurse before commissioning as an officer in the army.
However, due to back problems, I had to change direction. I went on to gain qualifications in speech and drama, a BA and MA in English Literature and Language, and a certification in teaching English as a foreign language.
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, martial arts, boxing, weight training, reading, and drawing. I live in Gloucester, where I share my home with three beautiful cats.

Jacqueline offers tuition in fundamental language skills, GCSE English (new 1–9 grading system), and A-Level English Language and Literature preparation. Lessons are available for individual students or small groups of up to three.
